A leading streamer has bagged the Telugu rights of the popular Korean show

ETV Win, the OTT platform owned by the Eenadu group, is borrowing a leaf out of aha’s book. The streamer is turning out to be a major boost for small/medium budget releases, has begun dubbing hit Malayalam films and international shows into Telugu now. The OTT platform is gearing up to premiere the Telugu version of the hit Korean show Flower of Evil shortly.
While releasing the trailer of Flower of Evil earlier this weekend, ETV Win has confirmed that the Telugu version of the show would land on the streamer on Friday i.e. November 17. The lead pair of Criminal Minds, Lee Joon-gi and Moon Chae-won headlined Flower of Evil, which has over 16 episodes. The show was released initially between July - September 2020 across multiple weeks.
Jang Hee-jin, Lim Na-young, Lee Chae-yoon, Seo Hyun-woo and Jeong Taek-hyun are also part of the lineup. The show revolves around Baek Hee-sung (Lee Joon-gi), who conceals his past from his detective wife Cha Ji-won (Moon Chae-won. While they look like a perfect family, Cha Ji-won suspects something fishy with her husband as she begins investigating a series of crimes.
After its success in the Korean version, Flower of Evil was adapted into multiple languages - Philippine (released with the same name on Viu) and Hindi (Durganga for ZEE5). With its unusual premise and a captivating screenplay, there’s little doubt about its potential to entertain Telugu audiences too. Created by Studio Dragon, Flower of Evil was directed by Kim Cheol-kyu.

Besides Flower of Evil, ETV Win is also premiering Mohanlal’s Odiyan in Telugu on November 24. They’re releasing a web show 90s, starring Sivaji, Vasuki Anand on January 5, 2024.
