Since Ruben Amurim has informed Rashford that he was not in his plan for the future, the English left winger was aiming to join FC Barcelona. However, in the 2024 - 25 season, he ended up playing 17 games for Aston Villa, where he had 10 contributions. Moreover, he ended up playing in the Champions League as well.
Now, with FC Barcelona looking to increase their Strength on the left wing, they want to have the services of Marcus Rashford.

A verbal agreement has been made between all parties involved with Barcelona planning for the medical tests of Rashford in the next few days.
If everything goes well, Rashford will be an FC Barcelona player for the next season.
But, at what fee?
Reports suggest that Rashford has agreed to take a pay cut to join FC Barcelona and will be paid around €10m-gross, including bonuses. Moreover, he is ready to join the Catalan club without any registration guarantees, which was not the case with Nico Williams. The deal will have an option to buy back the player as well.
Barcelona have already failed to sign Nico Williams from Bilbao, Luis Diaz from Liverpool, and Hansi Flick does not want to wait longer. He already had a word with Rashford, and the 27-year-old will link up with Barcelona’s pre-season training squad straightaway and will then join the squad for the tour of Asia.
Rashford has three years remaining on his contract at United, which helps him to earn a whopping £325,000 ($4,35,890) per week.

Rashford scored 11 goals and assisted 9 times in 41 games last season for Manchester United and Aston Villa.
The La Liga champions have been a bit silent in the transfer market and have only signed two players so far. They have signed goalkeeper Joan Garcia and young striker Roony Bardghji.
