Forensic: Radhika Apte, Vikrant Massey team up for Hindi remake of Malayalam thriller

It was earlier reported that Vikrant Massey has stepped into the shoes of Tovino Thomas for the Hindi remake of Forensic. Titled the same, now the makers have roped in Radhika Apte to play the female lead original played by Mamta Mohandas in the Malayalam film. The Hindi film Forensic is directed by Vishal Furia and the producers are Soham Rockstar Entertainment and Mini Films.

While sharing the motion poster, Vikrant wrote on his Instagram page, "'Ab naa bachega koi bhi unsolved case, #Forensic karega reveal har criminal ka face...'"

Whereas Radhika captioned it as "'Police ki fight aur #forensic ki UV light, Kare har criminal ki hawa tight...'"

While talking about Forensic, Vishal said in a statement, "Forensic explores the advanced science of crime scene investigation that expedites the process of finding the criminal. Having said so, I want to tell this science entertainingly and thrillingly."

He praised the leading actors by saying, "Vikrant and Radhika are believable actors and together we would want to convey to the audiences that this science is available for everyone to help them if they are the victims of a crime."

Vikrant also spoke sweetly about the makers and added, "I was astonished to see the level of detailing with which my character has been sketched."

While Radhika shared, "There is a particular way to navigate thriller movies and with Forensic, it hits all the right notes."

Meanwhile, producer Mansi Bagla of Mini Films called Forensic a unique film and revealed that they involved real forensic officers while penning the script.

Whereas Soham Rockstar Entertainment Pvt Ltd's Deepak Mukut is excited to roll this edge of the seat suspense thriller. 

Vikrant and Vishal have earlier worked in the web series Criminal Justice which is currently streaming on Disney+ Hotstar.
