The one we’ve been waiting for is finally here. Actually, almost here. HBO Max dropped the trailer of the much-awaited Friends: The Reunion, featuring all six of the actors – Jennifer Aniston, Courtney Cox, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, David Schwimmer and Lisa Kudrow – from the 90s sitcom.

The trailer promises the group of friends revisiting Monica’s (Courtney) apartment as well as playing some games that are sure to take the audience on a nostalgic ride. Jennifer even asks for a box of tissues during one scene, something that will resonate with most of the fans of the series when the Reunion episode is aired on May 27 on HBO Max.

The episode will have its share of revelations as Matt reveals that Courtney used to have her lines written on the dining table while Lisa talks about the bond they all shared. And of course, the most important question that was discussed was, “Were Rachel and Ross on a break?” Jennifer also recalled an incident when one of her former producers told her that Friends is not going to make her a star. All the cast were seen getting emotional being back where it all started.

This epic reunion will be loaded with guest stars including Chandler’s ex-girlfriend Janice (Maggie Wheeler), Monica’s ex-boyfriend Richard (Tom Selleck) as well as Gunther (James Micheal Tyler) with some famous celebrity including Justin Beiber, Mindy Kaling, Kit Harrington, Lady Gaga and the K-pop band BTS.

The show was created by David Crane and Marta Kauffman. During the show’s run and even after the conclusion of its final season in 2003, Friends kept gaining popularity around the globe. It was ranked No. 7 on Empire magazine’s The 50 Greatest TV Shows of All Time.

In 2003, Jennifer won The Golden Globe for Best Lead Actress in a Television Series, while Lisa was nominated for The Golden Globe once and Matt twice for their performances in the show.
