From Bandit Queen to The Family Man 2, Manoj Bajpayee and Seema Biswas ace the 25-year challenge

Since his stint as Srikant Tiwari in The Family Man, Manoj Bajpayee’s fan following has been growing by the day. But right now, what has become the talk of the town is a photo of himself and Seema Biswas 25 years ago during Bandit Queen along with a still from The Family Man 2.

While in the 1996 movie, the duo played bandits, for their latest web series, Manoj appeared as a spy and Seema essayed the Indian Prime Minister. A social media user shared the photos on Twitter and captioned, “On the different sides of the law: #25YearsChallenge by Seema Biswas and @BajpayeeManoj.”

Bandit Queen is based on the life of a famous dacoit, Phoolan Devi. Seema played the titular character in this biographical film, while Manoj appears in a supporting role as a member of the gang. The Shekhar Kapur directorial film won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film and premiered at the 1994 Cannes Film Festival.

Since the release of the second instalment of The Family Man, the internet has been filled with memes. Manoj has been enjoying a recent Twitter banter between the two OTT giants. While Netflix welcomed the actor with a quirky post for its anthology Ray, Amazon Prime Video asked him if it was difficult for him to change the job. To which the actor replied with a funny answer.
