On the occasion of Margot Robbie’s 31st birthday, we are paying homage to the charming and versatile Australian actor and producer. Starting her career with being a series regular on Neighbours, Robbie has gone on to act in both small-budget indie films and box office blockbusters alongside high profile actors like Nicole Kidman, Charlize Theron, Leonardo DiCaprio among others. Time and again she has shown her extensive acting range. Apart from being a graceful actor, Robbie has been an active philanthropist, lending her support to the cause of human rights, gender equality and women’s and LGBTQ rights. She has also produced several films, most recently being the phenomenal and a must-watch, Promising Young Woman starring Carey Mulligan and Bo Burnham.

This comic-based action flick sees the return of Harley Quinn following her break-up with Joker. She teams up with DCU characters Huntress and Black Canary, and cop Renee Montoya to save Gotham city from a ruthless gangster Roman Sionis.

Mary Queen of Scots - Netflix

In this period drama, Robbie essays the role of Queen Elizabeth I. With a breathtaking performance, the actor proved both her acting prowess and versatility vis-a-vis her roles in different genres of movies. The movie sees Saoirse Ronan as Mary, Queen of Scots, going head to head with Robbie’s Queen Elizabeth I for the throne of England.

Once Upon A Time in Hollywood - Amazon Prime Video

In an impressive cast line up, Robbie teams up with Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio in this Quentin Tarantino dramedy. Robbie essays the role of the famous actor, Sharon Tate, who was viciously murdered by members of the cult, Manson Family. The film was nominated for several Academy Awards.

An action rom-com, the movie follows Robbie as a con man’s protege turning into a femme fatale herself. Years after breaking off their relationship, Will Smith’s character finds Robbie as a successful con woman, on the other side of his long scam.  

The Wolf of Wall Street - Amazon Prime Video

The widely-acclaimed movie, that has several Academy Award nominations under its belt, stars Robbie in the role of Naomi Lapaglia alongside Leonardo DiCaprio’s Jordan Belfort. The movie traces the meteoric rise and fall of Belfort.

Peter Rabbit - Netflix

In this live-action film with CGI, enjoyable for both children and adults, Robbie lent her voice to several characters including the narrator and Flopsy Rabbit. The hilarious story follows Peter Rabbit and the battle between his new foe, Mr. McGregor’s nephew, for vegetables in Mr McGregor’s garden.

Z for Zachariah - Amazon Prime Video

Robbie essays the role of Ann Burden, in the aftermath of a nuclear apocalypse. Anne stays on her family’s valley farmstead, protected from the radioactive contaminants. Robbie is joined by Chiwetal Ejiofor and Chris Pine in this thrilling dystopian movie.
