Netflix has issued its latest 'save the date' warning as the streaming platform announces its new slate of global releases for 2023. The new all-encompassing list includes both highly anticipated releases such as Extraction 2 and Murder Mystery 2 to lesser-known but intriguing surprises that are sure to keep us all busy throughout the year. And with the biggest of Hollywood stars like Adam Sandler, Jennifer Aniston, Chris Hemsworth, Julia Roberts, Jennifer Lopez, Kevin Hart, Gal Gadot and plenty more gracing the small screen, things do like quite bright and chirpy for us modest consumers.

Kicking off things on a rather exciting note, Netflix has an eclectic collection of films in store for January with a sci-fi thriller, a bona fide comedy and a riveting documentary lined up. Eddie Murphy & Jonah Hill starrer rom-com You People debuts on January 27th with Pamela, A Love Story, a tell-all chronicle of Pamela Anderson, slated to come out on January 31st.

Netflix also has the much-awaited sequel films Murder Mystery 2 and Extraction 2 on offer in 2023. The former brings together the very popular Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston back on the screen as the Spitz couple unravel yet another mystery. The sequel to the 2019 film is said to be loosely based on Agatha Christie's Murder on the Orient Express. Murder Mystery 2 is out on March 31st.

Chris Hemsworth returns to his action roots as the dashing black ops mercenary Tyler Rake in Extraction 2. The film, which releases on Netflix on June 16, is based on the graphic novel Ciudad by Ande Parks with Joe Russo penning the screenplay. Sam Hargrave directs the action thriller.

Netflix will also be hosting Alia Bhatt's Hollywood debut Heart of Stone which releases on August 11. The film also stars Wonder Woman Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan.

Zoya Akhtar's ambitious The Archies adaptation, starring Suhana Khan, Agastya Nanda, Vedang Raina, Yuvraj Menda, Khushi Kapoor and others will be a straight Netflix release and one can expect the exact date of release to be announced soon. Chakda 'Xpress, the Jhulan Goswami biopic starring Anushka Sharma, too will be out on Netflix this year.
