From Karan Johar to Kartik Aaryan, celebs missing from Ambani pre-wedding celebrations

Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding celebrations came to an end after three days. While most of Bollywood celebrities graced the big event, a few gave it a skip. The reason for them giving the grand celebrations a miss varies and is mostly uncertain. From Kartik Aaryan to Karan Johar, here’s who we missed seeing despite the celebrations going on for three days…

Kartik Aaryan

Kartik is currently shooting for his upcoming film, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. The film also stars Kiara Advani, who was at the bash with her husband Sidharth Malhotra.

Karan Johar

Sidharth took time out of Yodha promotions but it looks like producer Karan Johar could not afford to. From planning events to finalizing details of the film, Karan has his hands full with the upcoming film and thus, it looks like he had to stay back while Sidharth could go and celebrate with the Ambanis and Merchants.

Kriti Sanon

Last featuring in Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya recently, Kriti Sanon was nowhere to be seen at the Ambani pre-wedding. Her co-star Shahid Kapoor was a part of the celebrations, even if for a brief period of time. Interestingly, Kriti’s clip from the promotions of the movie went viral on the internet. This happened to compare the time when Kriti refused to take a selfie with fans, while Rihanna, who landed to India from The US, invited fans to take selfie with her. Kriti will be seen in Crew soon. The movie features Kareena Kapoor Khan and is produced by Rhea Kapoor and Anil Kapoor, all of whom were at the celebrations.

Kajol

Although Ajay Devgn and Nysa Devgn were a part of the celebrations, Kajol could not join them. She was nowhere to be seen either at the airport or at the celebrations. Her film Do Patti’s teaser was unveiled recently. More recently, Kajol wished her little sister Tanishaa happy birthday.

Anushka Sharma-Virat Kohli

This one does not come as a big surprise. Anushka Sharma recently gave birth to her second baby with Virat Kohli. The couple is currently in London, taking care of their baby. Thus, neither Anushka nor Virat could make it to the pre-wedding. They are likely to be there for the wedding, which will take place on July 12 though.

Chopra sisters

Ever since being married to Raghav Chaddha, Parineeti Chopra’s public appearances have become limited and this was one such instance. She was nowhere to be seen at the bash and her sister Priyanka did not attend the celebrations either. Both the Chopra sisters are close to Anant’s sister Isha Ambani and they could make it to the wedding.

Ayushmann Khurrana

Ayushmann Khurrana had attended Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani’s wedding in Goa but he could not be a part of Ambani pre-wedding in Jamnagar, Gujarat. The reason for that is still unclear. We surely missed him and all other celebrities who could not make it to the celebrations.
