Made in Korea is a brand-new Netflix original, which is now streaming on the platform in multiple languages and subtitles. The first original from Netflix this year, it is written and directed by filmmaker Ra Karthik and stars Priyanka Arul Mohan in the lead role. A film about a small-town girl who is obsessed with Korean culture, the film takes the perspective of her, Shenba. After finding herself in Korea, her dream destination, Shenba is still unable to fathom under what circumstances she has arrived to her dream city. Made in Korea talks themes of resilience, friendship, and self-discovery while taking a heart-warming narrative. Actors Rishikanth, Jenson Dhivakar, Korean actors Park Hye‑Jin and No Ho‑jin are also part of the cast.

Yogi Da – Aha Tamil via OTTplay Premium

Yogi Da is a cop drama written and directed by Goutham Krishna. It stars Sai Dhansika in the lead role, along with Kabir Duhan Singh, Sayaji Shinde and others. It revolves around a police officer who attempts to take down a corruptive system in her jurisdiction but must confront deadly criminals before it.

Pookie is a romantic comedy drama which is made to appeal to the Gen-Z audience. With Ajay Dhishan and RK Dhanusha playing the lead roles, the film is produced, edited and scored by Vijay Antony, who also appears for a song. Pookie is about Aazhi and Kailash, two youngsters in a relationship who have a public spat and break up in front of many on the road. As they choose to part ways, Aazhi and Kailash come up with ways to divert their attention, but only end up in failure. The rest of the film is about if the two will get back together or not. Ganesh Chandra has helmed the film.

With the team comprising of four friends, Veera, Azhagu, Valli, and Muthu, they are determined to keep alive the publication owned by Veera’s grandfather, not only alive but also thriving. However, they face many challenges. Local Times web series is developed by Anekdotes and directed by Naveen George Thomas. It stars Rishikanth, Abdool Lee, Maurish Dass, Adwitha Arumugam, R. Pandiarajan, Chinni Jayanth, Rini, and Nandhitha Sreekumar and others. The show is written by Praveen Muthurangan and created by Abbhinav Kastura, along with Praveen Muthurangan, Satwik Gade, Thomas Manuel, and Visvaksen P.

Resort is a long-running web series featuring ‘Eruma Saani’ fame Vijay Kumar Rajendran, who has also written the series. The first four episodes are now out, with the makers releasing a set of new episodes every week. Helmed by Praveen Benett, Resort is set against the backdrop of fictional RR Resort and revolves around Vetri, an uneducated housekeeping staff member with raw culinary talent who dreams of becoming a chef. The cast also includes Thalaivasal Vijay, Keerthi Amar, Abeneya Nethrun, Dharshana Sripal, Sai Dhanya, and Badava Gopi, among others.
