There is no denying that the Telugu web series Mayasabha was one of the biggest hits of 2025. Based on the doyens of Telugu politics, the series showcases the stories of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu and former Chief Minister YS Rajasekhar Reddy. Featuring Chaitanya Rao, Aadi Pinishetty, Divya Dutta, and Sai Kumar in lead roles, the series was directed by noted filmmaker Deva Katta and clocked over 300 million streaming minutes on Sony Liv. Nayanam is a Telugu web series that marks the OTT debut of Varun Sandesh. He plays an ophthalmologist named Dr Nayan, who installs secret lenses in his patients and gains access to their personal lives for four minutes daily. What happens when one such patient kills her husband, and Nayan becomes entangled in the murder, forms the crux of the story. Directed by Swathi Prakash, the seven-episode series features strong performances by Varun Sandesh and Priyanka Jain of Bigg Boss fame. Though the concept is unusual, the series is narrated in a gripping manner, making it a must-watch.
3 Roses was a smash hit in the year 2021. After a long gap, the makers released the second season, which is an out-and-out comedy. This season is special as star comedian Satya plays a key role in the series. On the other hand, Kushita Kallapu and Raashi Singh made their debut in the series, joining Eesha Rebba as the main lead. The series is set in Mumbai and is about three young and independent women in the advertising world and how they deal with life’s challenges.
Mothervari Love Story is a village drama featuring popular YouTuber Anil Geela in the lead role. The seven-episode comedy caper won hearts with its hilarious narrative and depiction of small-town mentalities. The series follows a young couple who decide to elope, only for a long-hidden family secret to surface and derail their plans. Fans of small-town love stories will enjoy this series.
AIR is one of the most-watched comedy series in the Telugu OTT space in 2025. Directed by Joseph Clinto, the show follows three close friends as they navigate hostel life in a touch coaching institute in Vijayawada. The hilarious comedy and emotional journey of the students struck a chord with audiences. Harsh Roshan, of Court – A State vs Nobody fame, played the lead role in this series, which is now streaming on ETV Win.
Apart from the above-mentioned list, a few other web series like Constable Kankam and Arabia Kadali ended as average fares in the Telugu OTT space for the year 2025.
