Oke Oka Jeevitham is one film that all Sharwanand fans are unanimously anticipating to click at the box office. The film is the first production for the Tamil banner Dream Warrior Pictures in Telugu. Written and directed by Shree Karthick, the film also stars Ritu Varma, Amala Akkineni, Vennela Kishore and Priyadarshi in key roles. An exclusive premiere of the sci-fi entertainer was held for the Telugu film celebs earlier this week. Here's what they have to say.

Several names from the industry, from leading producers S Naga Vamsi, Abhishek Agarwal to Nagarjuna and directors Rahul Ravindran, Sudheer Varma, Hanu Raghavapudi and Sriram Adittya have had great things to say about the film. The core element of the entertainer - the mother-son drama resonated with everyone and many at the premiere couldn't control their tears during the climax. Nagarjuna had even added that the film choked him up and reminded him about his mother - Annapurna.

The film is titled Kanam in the Tamil version and the pre-release event was held in Hyderabad yesterday. The makers have promoted the film confidently across multiple media and yet have not gone overboard. They have maintained a cautious confidence over the same. Jakes Bejoy had scored the music for the bilingual while the Sarang brothers - Sujith and Sreejith - are the cinematographer and the editor respectively. Nasser also plays an important character as a scientist in the film.

While there have been several time-travel films over the years including Aditya 369, 24, Indru Netru Naalai, to name a few, the director Shree Karthick said that they've given a new spin to the genre that audiences will enjoy. The story was born out of a personal incident in the director's life, who had lost his mother due to an illness. The film is about multiple characters going back in time to revisit their childhood. We'll know the verdict of the film in a few hours from now.
