Rahul Bose has been a part of two interesting projects in the past two years. The actor first appeared in Anushka Sharma produced the film Bulbbul and now, he will be seen in the Bengali web series Rekka. Guess the connection between the two? Witches!

The first trailer of Rekka released today (July 25, 2021) confirming what people already guessed - that Muskan Jhaveri, played by Azmeri Haque Badhon, is a witch. 'Bulbbul' Tripti Dimri was also revealed to be a witch.

Rahul Bose, who was seen in a double role in Bulbbul, played a close witness to Bulbbul turning a witch and taking her revenge.

With Rekka, however, he is just a passive observer. Nirupam Chanda wishes to write about Muskan and her restaurant.

As soon as he speaks about the thought, Nirupam is met with many surprises. He comes to know that Muskan is indeed a witch. Upon digging further, he also comes across a suspicion that Muskan is involved in various murders.

While there was no way that Indranil (Bulbbul's much-elder husband) and Mahendra (the youngest and mentally challenged brother, both played by Rahul Bose) could save themselves from Bulbbul, there is still hope for Nirupam, who was just trying to do his job.

The fate of his character, however, will be decided once Rekka releases. The web series, directed by Srijit Mukherji, will start streaming on Hoichoi from August 13.

Rekka is also called Robindronath Ekhane Kawkhono Khete Aasheni (Rabindranath Tagore did not dine here). The series also stars Anirban Bhattacharya, Anirban Chakrabarti, Anjan Dutt, Alexx O'Nell and Debopriyo Mukherjee in pivotal roles.
