From Ray to Samantar 2: Movies and shows releasing from June 21-27

June 21 to June 27 is going to be an interesting week for OTT viewers. In the particular week, they will get to see content which is not only from all languages but also from other countries.

That’s right. In the coming week, OTT is going to explore content which is produced not only in India but also Bangladesh and Pakistan. The examples of the same are Mohanagar and Dhoop Ki Deewar.

Here’s what releases in the week of June 21-27:

June 23:

Good On Paper

Good On Paper is a Hollywood rom-com that is the story much like the name suggests, a love story which is only good on paper. A woman meets the guy of her dreams who is perfect in all sense, but we all know that no person is ever that perfect and the film, releasing on Netflix, explores that itself.

In The Dark Season 3

Continuing its story, Voot’s In The Dark season 3 will see a blind woman in her 20s named Murphy being saved from a mugging incident, by her friends. The friends happen to be her roommate and a teenager who is a drug dealer.

June 24:

Samantar Season 2

Swwapnil Joshi’s superhit Marathi show Samantar is back on MX Player. This time his future self Sudarshan Chakrapani (Nitish Bhardwaj) keeps him hanging stating that he could reveal every step Kumar Mahajan (Swwapnil) would take and still, he cannot change the future.

Grahan

Disney+Hotstar is presenting a mysterious show featuring Pawan Malhotra and Zoya Hussain in the lead roles. Zoya is investigating a crime when she realizes it might have been committed by her father, played by Pawan.

June 25:

Ray

Ray is an anthology film inspired by short stories narrated by iconic Bengali filmmaker Satyajit Ray. The film, starring Manoj Bajpayee, Harshvardhan Kapoor, Ali Fazal and Kay Kay Menon in the lead roles, is slated to release on Netflix.

Dhoop Ki Deewar

Dhoop Ki Deewar is a Zindagi original slated to release on Zee5. It explores the Indo-Pak war and how the tension affects the common people.

Mohanagar

Hoichoi presents a Bangladeshi crime-drama named Mohanagar. The story revolves around a crime and what happens in a police station in Dhaka soon after the crime.

Lol Salaam

Lol Salaam is a Telugu comedy series about friends. They are up for misadventures after their car breaks down in the middle of the forest.
