From Roberrt to Saina, here's when to catch the final April releases of Amazon Prime

This month has already had plenty of releases across languages, but the good thing is that April is not over yet and there’s plenty of upcoming releases that will cater to different audiences.

With theatrical runs cut short due to the second wave of the pandemic, several big movies are heading to Amazon Prime Video much sooner than expected. Some of these have already generated good buzz and that’s why the final week of April promises to be a proper treat for viewers:

Saina

Directed by Amole Gupte, Saina is a biographical sports film based on the life of shuttler Saina Nehwal. Its stars Parineeti Chopra playing the badminton star along with Manav Kaul, Eshan Naqvi, and Meghna Malik. The film focuses on the journey of Saina from a young age to become the country’s top player. Saina released in theatres on March 26, 2021, and will stream on the OTT platform from April 23.

Roberrt

The Kannada superhit follows the story of Raghava (Darshan), who lives with his son Arjun in Lucknow. Raghava is a god-fearing and peace-loving person who works as a cook, but the lives of the father-son duo take a turn when Arjun lands into trouble with a powerful gangster. Roberrt hit theatres on March 11 and will release on April 25 on Amazon Prime Video.

Ee Kathalo Paathralu Kalpitam

The Telugu drama, directed by Abhiram M and stars Pavan Tej Konidela, Meghana and Lucky. The movie revolves around three aspiring actors who try to reveal the truth behind the murder of a model named Rihanna. Ee Kathalo Paathralu Kalpitam released in theatres on March 19 in theatres and will be available on the streamer from April 24.

Devarakondalo Vijay Premakatha

Based on the true events, the Telugu movie Devarakondalo Vijay Premakatha narrates the story of two youngsters, who are irrevocably in love with each other, but in order to live together, they will have to fight and deal with an unexpected problem. Directed by SV Ramanan, the movie stars Vijay Shankar and Mouryani. The film, which released in theatres on March 11, will be on the OTT platform from April 26.

Tom Clancy’s Without Remorse

Tom Clancy's Without Remorse is an action thriller film, starring Michael B. Jordan, Jamie Bell, Jodie Turner-Smith, Luke Mitchell and Jack Kesy. The film, which is a spin-off of the Jack Ryan film series based on Clancy’s novels, revolves around an elite Navy SEAL, who is seeking justice for his murdered family. The movie will drop on the OTT platform on April 30.
