Tollywood is the only industry that churns out films one after the other. 2025 has been a mixed year for Telugu cinema, as some big films did not make much of an impact. Best Telugu Films that impressed in 2025
2025 started with a bang with the release of Venkatesh's Sankranthiki Vasthunnam. Directed by Anil Ravipudi, the film grossed just over Rs 300 crore at the box office and emerged as the biggest hit of 2025. The family drama had Meenakshi Chaudhary and Aishwarya Rajesh as the female leads and was a hilarious comedy. Be it the comedy, conflict, or performances, everything about the film worked well, bringing family audiences back to theaters after a long time.
