Nakuul Mehta shares how real-life startup journey shaped his role in Do You Wanna Partner: 'I have many side hustles'

Do You Wanna Partner is a heartwarming series that follows the journey of women's entrepreneurship, the complexities of female friendships, and the challenges of navigating a male-dominated industry. While Tamannaah Bhatia and Diana Penty played the central roles as the two best friends who start the craft beer business, Nakuul Mehta played the role of a brewer, equally contributing his acting talent, in the series. Recently, Nakuul shared how a real-life startup journey shaped his role in Do You Wanna Partner.

Reflecting on why the script of Do You Wanna Partner resonated with him, Nakuul, who plays Bobby, a brewer in the series, shared in a statement, “I have many side hustles, and one of them is that I’m a startup investor. Over the last couple of years, I’ve taken that very seriously, alongside my work on television, theatre, and OTT.. I’ve been actively investing and learning the startup space, and when I read the script, it instantly resonated with me."

He further added that having interacted with several founders, he could relate to the narrative from that side of it, too, and it felt pretty cool to connect with the story, because it’s a world he now understands and appreciates.
