From Sr NTR to Gurmeet Choudhary - The enduring legacy of actors who brought Lord Ram to life on screen

A few actors have achieved widespread recognition by portraying Lord Ram on both television and the silver screen. Notable actors such as Arun Govil, Gurmeet Choudhary and Ashish Sharma became household names overnight due to their compelling performances as Lord Ram.

Telugu cinema legend Sr NTR left an indelible mark on the audience's psyche by depicting Lord Ram in several films, including Lava Kusha, Sri Ramanjaneya Yuddham and Seetha Rama Kalyam.

In the 1997 mythological Telugu film Bala Ramayanam, Jr NTR took on the role of Lord Ram, with Smitha Madhav portraying the young Sita.

Arun Govil holds the distinction of being one of the most renowned actors to portray Lord Ram. His portrayal in the television series Ramayan (1986) garnered nationwide recognition and acclaim.
