Waqt (January 5)

This 1965 family drama had an ensemble cast including Sunil Dutt, Balraj Sahni, Shashi Kapoor, Raaj Kumar, Sadhana Shivdasani and Sharmila Tagore. The story follows a wealthy family getting devastated due to a tragic earthquake, leaving the siblings separated in childhood. Years later their lives get intertwined due to romance and conflict, all while a pivotal character getting jailed for a murder that he did not commit.

Gumnaam (January 19)

This horror thriller mystery drama from 1965 also features an ensemble cast such as Manoj Kumar, Mehmood, Pran, Manmohan, Helen and Laxmi Chhaya. The story follows eight strangers who unite at a remote island after winning a contest. As they begin to settle down in the creepy isolated mansion, horrific deaths of the guests begin to occur each passing day.

Pyaar Ke Side Effects (January 16)

Rahul Bose and Mallika Sherawat's this 2006 rom-com drama follows Sid, who's a popular disco jockey and is scared of marriage, is in a relationship with Trisha. Things take a stressful turn in Sid's life when Trisha proposes his for marriage, leading him on a humorous journey of dealing with Trisha’s parental disapproval, meddling friends and his own internal conflict as he navigates the side effects of love and impending matrimony, ultimately realising he wants to commit.

Sur: The Melody of Life (January 9)

Singer Lucky Ali and Gauri Karnik-starrer this 2002 musical drama follows a music teacher Vikramaditya Singh who seeks a truly exceptional voice to fulfil his musical legacy. He discovers the melodious voice of Tina Marie in a small town church. He begins to train her into a star, but when she achieves stardom, his own insecurities lead to jealousy, sabotage and a near-breakdown of her career, before he finally redeems himself by allowing her to shine at a concert.

Raat Gayi Baat Gayi (January 26)

Rajat Kapoor, Neha Dhupia and Vinay Pathak’s this 2009 comedy drama follows a married man Rahul who wakes up with a massive hangover and can't remember whether he cheated on his wife or not. This very confusion leads Rahul and his friends to piece together all the blurry moments of last night, while they navigate their own marital woes, exploring themes of modern marriage and infidelity through witty dialogue.

Ab Tak Chappan 2 (January 23)

Nana Patekar’s this 2015 action drama is the sequel to his own 2004 movie. The movie also features Gul Panag and Ashutosh Rana in the leads. The sequel follows retired encounter specialist Sadhu Agashe gets pulled back into Mumbai's crime-ridden world by the Home Minister to take down gangsters Rawal and Rauf Lala, only to find himself caught in political conspiracies that lead to his son’s murder, ultimately forcing him to confront the corrupt minister and bring him to justice.
