From Tarla to The Kashmir Files Unreported: Zee5 announces its slate of upcoming shows and films

Zee5 has been at the forefront today, when it comes to shows and even movies. The OTT platform has released the second season of Taj, Taj: Reign of Revenge. Apart from that, it has as many as 11 title slates, almost ready for release.

While some titles are a continuation from the previously released shows and movies, the others are fresh projects. A few films are also slated to release on this platform post its theatrical release.

Remember Sunil Grover’s Sunflower? That has been renewed for a new season, season 2. Huma Qureshi’s Mithya, Gulshan Devaiah’s Duranga and Sonali Bendre’s The Broken News are also renewed for their second season. Meanwhile, Humorously Yours is coming up with its third season and Aam Aadmi Family will release its fourth season soon.

Moreover, there’s a separate project that came out of The Kashmir Files (the highest-grossing Hindi film of 2022, available for streaming on Zee5 and OTTplayPremium). The Kashmir Files Unreported will also release on Zee5. Guneet Monga’s Gyarah Gyarah (11:11) and Sudhir Mishra’s Crime Beat are also among the other projects announced.

When it comes to direct-to-OTT films, Manoj Bajpayee’s Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai and Silence 2, Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s Haddi and Love is Blind, Pankaj Tripathi’s Kadak Singh and Huma Qureshi’s Tarla are lined up for a release on the platform. Apart from them, Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2 will start streaming on Zee5 post its theatrical run.

Among the regional titles, Vetrimaaran and Vijay Sethupathi’s Viduthalai - Part 1, Arya's Kathar Basha Endra Muthuramalingam and Nagraj Manjule’s Ghar Banduk Biryani are slated to release on the OTT platform. Out of them, Ghar Banduk Biryani is a Marathi release.
