Shraddha Kapoor's most recent film, Stree 2 (2024), went on to lead in one of Bollywood's most successful films. People are talking about how Bollywood is still recovering from the pandemic's stay-at-home effects; the horror-comedy's record-breaking earnings of almost ₹600 crore made it the highest-grossing Hindi film of all time. The actor plays the same role in the sequel just like in her 2018 original, but this time her character comes clean about being the daughter of a story-driven vindictive spirit.
Moreover, filmmaker Amar Kaushik made a creative choice to heighten the suspense by limiting her screen time, despite the critical effect of her character. In an interview with Nod magazine, Shraddha stated that she gave in to the director's vision, like she always does. Who better to go for advice than him, considering he is an expert on the film and its characters?
The actor went on to say that it was an honor—and an ongoing luxury—to collaborate with so many filmmakers and delve into so many different personalities; her father, Shakti Kapoor, did not conduct casting calls; she auditioned for each part.
Her mother, Shivangi Kolhapure, gave her some of the finest advice she has ever gotten. No matter how bad a day gets, her mom assured Shraddha everything will be okay since bad days eventually pass. Make another attempt and on top of that, that particular day might never happen again.
The actor discusses how she leads a solitary life, defining her own boundaries and rules. She made it clear that she has no interest in participating in any rat race.
Talking about her upcoming projects, as per the magazine Shraddha kind of hinted that she is busy in the next five years as she will be a part of the Maddock Films' Horror Comedy Universe. Her 2025 releases include Thama, which is out during Diwali, and Shakti Shalini, which is set to be released around the new year. Two major films will hit theatres in 2026: Chamunda in December and Bhediya 2 in August. Coming in 2027 are Stree 3 and Maha Munjya, and 2028 will bring Pehla Mahayudh and Doosra Mahayudh.
However, Shraddha has never been the type to do her job and then relax. The actor wants to make significant cinema, eat wonderful cuisine, snuggle with pets, spend time with loved ones, write, read, dance, doodle, and meet a variety of intriguing people; all of these are on her personal wishlist for 2025.
