The Mrighdeep Singh Lamba-directed film hit the big screen on Thursday.
The box office take for the comedy film starring an ensemble cast, Fukrey 3, was strong on Thursday but dropped slightly on Friday. Early estimates by Sacnilk.com put the second-day box office at Rs. 7.5 crore. A total of Rs. 16.32 crore has been made in just two days thanks to the efforts of the film starring Richa Chadha, Varun Sharma, Manjot Singh, Pulkit Samrat, and Pankaj Tripathi.
On a holiday that was only partly observed, the film opened to an impressive Rs. 8.82 crore. The report said that on Friday, it was able to collect Rs. 7.5 crore thanks to an occupancy rate of 19.6 percent. Despite competition from Kangana Ranaut's Chandramukhi 2 and Vivek Agnihotri's The Vaccine War, this film is still doing exceptionally well at the box office.
Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani's Excel Entertainment company produced Fukrey 3 under the direction of Mrighdeep Singh Lamba, with writing by Vipul Vig. It's been 10 years since the original film and six years since Fukrey Returns.
In Fukrey 3, the Fukras expand their empire even farther. They intend to seize control of Delhi this time around by actively participating in city elections. Due to financial constraints, however, they accept an international job that will forever alter the course of their lives. They made money through their dreams and later their premonitions in the first two films; in the third, they've been given a special talent that will make them rich. The movie provides nonstop comedy as the characters face one predicament after another and find their own unique Fukrey solutions.
Release date changes:
The original release date for Fukrey 3 was September 7, which would have put it in competition with Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan. It was originally scheduled for December 1 but was postponed until September 28 after Salaar ran into production delays. The third film does not feature Ali Fazal, who was present in the first two.
