The actress will be appearing as a local gangster in the movie
Popular Bollywood actress Richa Chadha confirmed that the shoot of her latest comedy Fukrey 3 has been delayed as it requires sequences with large crowds. In an interview with The Indian Express, she opened up about the film and how the pandemic delayed the film. The film was earlier scheduled to release on April 10.
The Mrigdeep Singh Lamba directorial chronicles the story of four friends, who plan to make easy money. The cast includes Ali Fazal, Pulkit Samrat, Varun Sharma, Manjot Singh and Richa, in which she plays the role of a local gangster. The actress said that her team is likely to restart filming by the end of this year or early 2022.
Richa expressed how the team is close to her and how comfortable she feels working with them. She also said the reunion of the team is likely to happen soon, considering everyone’s dates and personal commitments.
Apart from Fukrey 3, the actress has Girls Will Be Girls, her first production with her beau Ali Fazal. Under the newly-launched banner Pushing Buttons Studios, the couple is gearing up to produce the coming-of-age story, which will be helmed by debutant filmmaker Shuchi Talati.
The 34-year-old actress is also said to be working on her script, which she said to be something that consists of some ‘surrealism and satirical’ elements in it. The first draft is ready and she will be pitching the story to some filmmakers soon.
Richa was last seen in Voot Select’s series Candy. She will be appearing in the third season of Amazon Prime Video’s Inside Edge. She also has Disney+Hotstar’s murder mystery series Six Suspects in her kitty, which is helmed by Tigmanshu Dhulai.
