Gaalivaana: Khushbu unveils the character promo of Radhika Sarathkumar as Saraswathi in ZEE5's thriller

OTT platform ZEE5 is coming up with another Telugu show. Titled Gaalivaana, the web series direced by Sharan Koppisetty is a family thriller with an ensemble cast comprising Radhika Sarathkumar, Sai Kumar, Chandini Chowdary, Chaitanya Krishna, Sharanya Pradeep, Nandini Rai and others in key roles. In the lead up to its release on April 14, the streaming platform is extensively promoting the show on social media starting from the last week. BBC Studios and NorthStar Entertainment are jointly producing Gaalivaana.

As part of the promotional campaign, the character promo of Saraswathi in Gaalivaana, played by Radhika Sarathkumar was launched recently. In what's a welcome friendly gesture, Radhika's counterpart and actress Khushbu unveiled the promo on social media. "There is no greater storm than a mother's rage! Presenting my dearest friend @realradikaa as #Saraswathi in an upcoming #AZEE5Original series #Gaalivaana, premieres 14th April only on ZEE5 (sic)," Khushbu tweeted. 

"You know what's the worst thing that can happen to us? Performing the last rites of someone who grew up in your womb for over 9 months. The man who killed my son and daughter in law can't be alive. When injustice is being meted out to our kids and something wrong is done, does it also deserve to be called a crime?," Radhika Sarathkumar utters a few powerful dialogues as Saraswathi in the character promo.

Thagubothu Ramesh, Jyothi Pradeep, Surabhi Jayachandra Varma, Sri Lakshmi, Sharanya Pradeep and Ashritha Vemuganti also important roles in Gaalivaana. Sricharan Pakala is the music director for the show while Sujatha Siddhartha is the cinematographer. Pranay Naini is the art director with Santhosh Naidu handling responsibilities as an editor. Neelima Marrar is the executive producer. Gaalivaana is an adaptation of a European drama adapted to suit the tastes of Telugu audience.
