Gaalodu OTT release date: When and where to watch Sudigali Sudheer, Gehna Sippy’s comedy

Sudheer Anand, popularly addressed as Sudigali Sudheer among film circles, made a name for himself with his brief comic appearances in a handful of popular Telugu films. He turned a lead for a full-on mass entertainer titled Gaalodu recently. Gehna Sippy played the female lead in the project directed and produced by Raja Sekar Reddy Pulicharla under Samskruthi Films. The film had hit screens on November 18, 2022.

Gaalodu, made under a shoestring budget, emerged a surprise hit at the box office, registering impressive footfalls despite not boasting of many recognisable faces. Nearly three months after its theatrical release, the entertainer will have its OTT premiere. Leading OTT platform aha has acquired the streaming rights of the Sudigali Sudheer starrer and will premiere the film on February 17.

Referred to as Gaalodu in a village, Sudheer plays a wastrel who has no purpose in life in the film. He quarrels with the son of a village head and accidentally kills him. He flees to Hyderabad and helps the female lead in a conflicting situation. Gaalodu a.k.a Sudheer is roped in as a driver in her house and he falls in love with the girl. However, the girl’s father isn’t happy with their relationship. What’s the road ahead for the couple?

Saptagiri, Shakalaka Shankar, Prudhvi, Satya Krishna and Ravi Reddy too essay crucial roles in the film also written by Raja Sekar Reddy Pulicharla. Bheems Ceciroleo had scored the music for the same, which has cinematography by C Ram Prasad. Narayana Rao Muppala is the art director of the film edited by MSR. Bhargavi Reddy designed the costumes for Gaalodu.

Baba Bhaskar, Anish and Venkat Deep are choreographers while the likes of Kasarla Shyam, Srinivas Teja, Sri Amith Raj Putla, Suresh Gangula, Srisri Ranga penned the lyrics. Wingchoo Anji was the stunt director.
