Gaatchora: Is the serial coming to an end?

Khori, played by Solanki Roy, and Riddhiman, played by Gourab Chatterjee, became household names with their superhit serial, Gaatchora. It started in 2021 December. The pair of Gourab Chatterjee and Solanki Roy was literally lapped up by the audience. Solanki’s character came to an end in mid-2023 as the actress took a break and went to Mumbai. The story then moved on with her and many new faces came. Sriparna Roy paired up with Gourab and many twists came in the story. Still, people miss Solanki. The serial suffered in the TRP list after Khori's character arc ended. Now it is being heard that Gatchora is going to end soon. 

People initially loved Gaatchora’s story. It was heard several times that the serial would end, but still, Acropolis Entertainment managed to continue. It is rumored the serial will end after puja. In an interview with Anandabazar Online, Gourab Chatterjee said, “I can’t say anything about this. We are not told anything. Hence, you will have no answer from me.” 

Gourab finished several film works amidst the serial’s schedule. He acted in the film Keertan which was released a few days back. He has two films and a series in his bag.

Meanwhile, Solanki is still in Mumbai. According to sources, the actress is expected to come to Kolkata during Durga Puja.
