Gadar 2 actor Sunny Deol wants to work with Alia Bhatt and no, he doesn’t want to romance her

Fresh out of Gadar 2 success, Sunny Deol now wants to work with Alia Bhatt in his next. The superstar of the 90s, who is back in action with Gadar 2’s Box Office collections, now wants to work with the current female superstar. If you thought that he wants to work with Alia in a romantic role, you couldn’t be more wrong. Sunny wants to collaborate with Alia but for a film about father and daughter, where she plays the role of his daughter.

During his interview with Zoom, Sunny Deol said that he wants to work with Alia Bhatt. He confessed that he likes her a lot and thus, it would be interesting to work with her in a movie. “I’m not saying as hero-heroine or opposite (each other), I’m talking it could be anything like a daughter-father,” he added. The actor also said that winning the National Award for Gangubai Kathiawadi is good for the actress, since she deserves it.

Alia’s most memorable film where she did not play the romantic lead

Alia has performed varied roles but she has played the romantic lead in most of them. However, in one movie, she was not exactly the romantic lead to the lead actor. We’re talking about Gauri Shinde’s Dear Zindagi. In the movie, Alia’s character Kaira suffered heartbreaks and then, she met her therapist Dr. Jehangir Khan, played by Shah Rukh Khan. Although she developed feelings for him, the two were never romantically involved in a sense.

She is also seen in Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani opposite Ranveer Singh. The actress is reported to start working on Vasan Bala’s next, which is expected to be based on a prison escape.
