Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel, Utkarsh Sharma, Manish Wadhwa star in Anil Sharma's sequel Gadar 2: The Katha Continues, which impressed by topping 480 crores in box office revenue on its fourth Friday.

The movie collected an additional 6 crores net on its fourth Saturday, extending its spectacular run and showing an increase of roughly 27-30% over Friday. Gadar 2 has currently earned a total of Rs 493.65 crores.

Gadar 2 clashed with OMG 2 and Jailer

The movie competed at the box office with Akshay Kumar's OMG 2 and Rajinikanth's Jailer. On August 25, Dream Girl 2 by Ayushmann Khurrana also hit theaters. Gadar 2 was not significantly impacted, though. With the entire film business, Deol celebrated the triumph of his movie on Saturday. Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Ajay Devgn, Aamir Khan, Sanjay Dutt, Karan Johar, Kiara Advani, Sara Ali Khan and other Bollywood celebrities showed up to offer their congratulations to the Anil Sharma directed film's crew.

Gadar 2 vs Jawan

With Jawan releasing on September 7, it remains to be seen if Gadar 2 will be able to weather this storm of Shah Rukh Khan starrer. Gadar 2 presently had better advance ticket sales than Jawan. But with SRK's craze at the box office, which was proved by Pathaan, the film is expected to fade out at the box office after it reaches the 500 crore mark. The film still has a fantastic run and is labelled as a 'blockbuster'.
