Gadar 2 Box Office Day 31: Sunny Deol starrer is now the second biggest Bollywood film after crossing Baahubali 2 (Hindi); here's how

Gadar 2 is smashing old records and creating new ones on a daily basis! The Sunny Deol starrer’s box-office collection is evidence of this fact. Today, the Anil Sharma directorial has crossed Baahubali 2's box office collection in Hindi language and is now eyeing to beat Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathaan.

What are the latest collections at the box office?

On Sunday, Gardar 2 minted approximately Rs 1.60 crore, as cited by industry tracker Sacnilk. It is a significant jump from the previous day’s numbers of Rs 90 lakh (Friday) and Rs 1.35 crore (Saturday). With this, Sunny Deol's patriotic movie has earned Rs 513.85 crore in the last 31 days.

Ever since Gadar 2 hit the theatres on August 11, it has been smashing records on a daily basis.

Gadar 2 has surpassed 'Baahubali 2: The Conclusion' in terms of lifetime collections in the Hindi region. However, it is still striving to achieve the remarkable all-time record set by 'Pathaan,' which stands at Rs 543 crore.

SRK’s Jawan, on the other hand, has already crossed Rs 287.06 crore within just four days of its theatrical release.

Now, only time will tell which movie with reach the top spot and shatter records created by Pathaan at the box office.

Gadar 2 is a period action drama film helmed and produced by Anil Sharma, with a screenplay crafted by Shaktimaan Talwar. This cinematic work serves as a sequel to the much-acclaimed movie, Gadar: Ek Prem Katha.

The movie boasts a cast featuring Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel, and Utkarsh Sharma, all reprising their roles from the original film. In this latest installment, the storyline revolves around Tara Singh's return to Pakistan, driven by the mission to rescue his imprisoned son, all set against the backdrop of the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971.
