Gadar 2 Box Office Report Day 3: Sunny Deol's period action drama crosses the Rs. 130 crore mark in the first weekend

Gadar 2 has entered the domestic box office market like a tidal wave, proving itself to be the people's blockbuster. It will undoubtedly have a huge effect and become a box-office smash. The movie's 20%+ increase in box office revenue across circuits, especially on a historic Sunday, is abundantly clear evidence of its relentless pursuit of success.

The speed with which Gadar 2 reached the Rs. 100 crore mark was the fastest ever for a film that wasn't released on a holiday or as a solo venture. Its stunning Rs. 51.70 crore net collection on day 3 brought its overall total to an unprecedented Rs. 134.88 crore net, demonstrating how strong its dominance has only gotten over the past few days. Breaking records set by Pathaan and KGF, Gadar 2 established itself as the undisputed champion of many mass audiences and cemented its position as a true box office monster.

Gadar 2 has been receiving praise from fans all throughout the country. On Sunday, hundreds of locals in Rajasthan's Bhilwara area rode their tractors to the theatre. From Bhilwara's central marketplace, the villagers rode tractors to the theatre.

As per reports, farmers even chanted Bharat Mata Ki Jai as they drove around with Gadar 2 posters plastered all over their tractors. A native of Agarpura in the Bhilwara district named Narayan Lal Bhadala stated that the film was a sensation all over India and was set to break box office records just like its predecessor.

Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel are the lead actors in Gadar 2, and Anil Sharma and Zee Studios co-produced it. Utkarsh Sharma, who played the young Jeete in Gadar: Ek Prem Katha, has reprised his role in the original film as Sunny and Ameesha's onscreen son. On August 11, 2023, the film made its debut in theatres.
