Gadar 2: Non-functioning of air conditioner leads to an altercation in a theatre screening the Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel starrer in Kanpur

Ever since the time the Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel starrer ‘Gadar 2’ had got released, the film is on the verge of creating and breaking many records. The theatres which have been screening the film, are all running to almost packed houses. Even though the film is doing splendid business, there is also a flip side to the same. A few theatres which have been screening the film ‘Gadar 2’ have started facing issues for various reasons.

Just a couple of days back, we had reported that, two bombs of low intensity were thrown outside the cinema hall screening the film in Patna, because the theatre management had stopped two miscreants from selling the tickets in black. Now, there is one more incident which has been reported in India Today. As per the said report, its being stated that, when the air conditioning wasn’t working inside the theatre which was screening ‘Gadar 2’, a certain section of the audience started complaining about the non-functioning of the air conditioner inside the theatre. This was followed by the stationed bouncers resorting to physical force against those audiences who had complained about the non-functioning of the air conditioner.

The said news report also stated that Mithilesh Gupta (President of the Uttar Pradesh Dal Mill Association), was also present in the said theatre with his family to watch the film. He was quoted in the article stating that, after the time the issue about the non-functioning of the air conditioning was raised, the bouncers present there and also the management had reportedly asked his sons to come out and then, they were physically attacked. This was followed by the concerned authorities stepping in quickly and solving the matter. It has also been reported that the concerned authorities of the Kanpur Police Commissionerate had told the audiences present that they have filed a case against the guilty under the applicable sections of the law and that suitable action will be taken against them.
