Gadar 2: The Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel starrer becomes the first film ever to be screened at New Parliament for Lok Sabha members

Besides breaking many records at the box-office, the Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel starrer ‘Gadar 2’ has now added yet another feather to its already overflowing cap of firsts and achievements. The film has now become the first film ever to be screened at New Parliament for Lok Sabha members. The film’s director Anil Sharma took to social media and shared the news with everyone.

In his post, film maker Anil Sharma wrote, “ASP is thrilled to get an email about screening #gadar2 in the new Parliament building at Balayogi auditorium for three days beginning today (August 25), for members n vice president .. n others What an honour for Team #gadar2”.

Meanwhile, Sunny Deol also shared a heartfelt message with all his fans and the audience who have helped the film to reach dizzying heights. The film has presently crossed the Rs. 400 crore mark at the box-office. In his post on social media, Sunny Deol said, “Hello everyone. First and foremost, aap sab ka bhot bhot dhanyawaad. Apko Gadar itni pasand aayiegi, maine kabhie socha bhi nahi tha. And, hum log 400 cross kar chuke hai, aage jaenge. But ye sab aap hi ke vajah se hua hai, aapko film pasand ayi, Tara Singh pasand aya, Sakeena pasand ayi, poora parivar aaya. So, iss liye thank you, thank you, thank you”. (A heartfelt thanks to each one of you. We did not expect that you all will like and love Gadar so much. We have already crossed the 400 (crore) mark and will also keep marching ahead. As for the film, besides Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel, it also stars Utkarsh Sharma, Simrat Kaur, Manish Wadhwa, Gaurav Chopra, Luv Sinha, Manoj Bakshi, Rohit Chaudhary, Rakesh Bedi in prominent roles.
