Game Changer box office collection day 2: Ram Charan’s film witnesses massive drop on its last day of enjoying as solo Telugu release

Game Changer, the Telugu film starring Ram Charan in the lead role, opened in theatres for Sankranthi on Friday. Within its two days of run, Game Changer has collected Rs 72.5 crore so far in India. One has to wait and watch how the fil will fare from Sunday onwards, given another Telugu film Daaku Maharaj is debuting in theatres on January 12.

Actor Ram Charan's first lead role since RRR, is Game Changer helmed by Shankar. The film marks the director's debut in Telugu, with Karthik Subbaraj providing the story. Game Changer has collected Rs 72.5 crore at the box office in India, so far in two days.

Out of the Rs 72.5 crore, the majority share comes from Telugu business with Rs 53.95 crore, followed by Hindi with Rs 14.5 crore. Only from Saturday, we will come to know Game Changer's real performance on ground, given Nandamuri Balakrishna's Daaku Maharaj is releasing on January 12. Game Changer has collected Rs 186 crore worldwide on its first day.

Game Changer is a political action film starring Ram Charan, Kiara Advani and others. The film stars Ram Charan in dual roles, and revolves around a dedicated IAS officer who takes on a corrupt political system headed by a politician.

The post-theatrical streaming rights of Game Changer have been bagged by Prime Video. The film will be available on the platform after Game Changer completes its theatrical run. Made on a huge scale, Game Changer opened to mixed reviews upon its release.
