Ram Charan's Telugu political actioner Game Changer has landed on OTT within a month of its theatrical release. The film, which marked Tamil filmmaker S Shankar's much-talked-about Telugu debut, is now streaming on Prime Video. From the lead cast to the plot, here’s everything you need to know about the Ram Charan-starrer before you tune into Prime Video
Game Changer is streaming on Prime Video from February 7, 2025. The political film is available in all south Indian languages of Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada with English subtitles. However, the Hindi-dubbed version of it is not available on Prime Video and there is no update on when fans can expect it on the streamer. Back when the OTT release date announcement was made, fans were disappointed to note that the Hindi version will not be available with the rest.
Game Changer, starring Ram Charan and Kiara Advani, was released in theatres to much fanfare on January 10, 2025. However, Shankar, who is known for hit Tamil films such as Kamal Haasan's Indian and Aishwarya Rai-starrer Jeans, failed to recreate the magic in Telugu with the Ram Charan-starrer. Though the movie started on a good note at the box office, negative word of mouth led to poor footfalls and the film ended its box office run pretty quickly.
This is also another reason that Game Changer has made an early entry in the OTT space, as earlier it was stated that the film, produced by Dil Raju, will premiere on Prime Video only after 50 days of its theatrical release.
Now that Prime Video has started streaming the Ram Charan-starrer, it would be interesting to note how the OTT audience would react to it.
Game Changer, headlined by Ram Charan, also features Kiara Advani, Anjali, and SJ Suryah. Srikanth, Sunil, Jayaram and Samuthirakani also appear in other key roles in the film, which is written by Karthika Subbaraj, who is also a well-known filmmaker.
The film follows Ram Nandan, an IAS officer, as he fights the corrupt system and vile politicians in Andhra.
