Game Changer: The Ram Charan-Shankar biggie won't release in summer 2024; here's when it will be out

Thanks to Rajamouli's RRR, Ram Charan is now a global sensation. Currently, he is in the middle of filming Shankar's newest movie, Game Changer. The action drama is being produced by Dil Raju on a whopping budget of Rs 300 crore. 

To date, only 60% of the film has been wrapped up and the makers are not revealing any updates on the release date. Now news about the film's further delay has gone viral. A new schedule for the film kicked off today in Mysore. ZEE5 has the OTT rights of the film.

Game Changer was supposed to be released during Sankranthi 2024, but it was pushed. Later, news was that the release was postponed to the summer of 2024. But we have now come to know that Game Changer will also be pushed further and will only be released during Diwali 2024.

This means that the fans of Ram Charan need to wait for one more year to see their favourite hero on screen. The gossip in film circles is that even Ram Charan is quite upset and wants Shankar to get on with the shoot so that he can start his new film with Buchi Babu.

Dil Raju, who is known to be a very strict producer, has no command of the shoot as Shankar has been simultaneously shooting for his other film, Indian 2, with Kamal Haasan. That is the main reason Game Changer has been postponed in the first place.

The makers have not officially announced this but the news is that as Game Changer is a pan-India release, Dil Raju feels that Diwali will be a perfect time to release the film. Kiara Advani plays the female lead in this film, which has music by Thaman. Srikanth and Sunil play key roles in this film.
