Gamechanger poster: Netizens call Ram Charan and Yash “twins from different mothers”

The resemblance between Telugu Superstar Ram Charan and Kannada’s Rocking Star Yash has been a hotly discussed subject earlier too and it came up yesterday again, on the occasion of the Megapower Star’s birthday. The team of his next, Gamechanger, released an announcement poster, in which Ram Charan could be mistaken for Yash and how.

Taking to social media, several netizens wrote how they were confused and wondered if it was an announcement for #Yash19 after all. Many users wrote, “How many of you were confused by the Gamechanger poster?” and posted the poster next to an image of Yash on a bike, sporting similar aviator glasses. The resemblance was, no doubt, uncanny.

“I thought the Gamechanger poster was a still from Gajakesari”, wrote one. “Same Same. For a second I thought #Yash19 announcement. Not gonna lie, I thought it was Yash at first glance,” was another comment. “Twin brothers from different mothers,” was a third comment, while a fourth wondered why they’d put a poster of Yash and claimed it was Ram Charan. Yet another wrote, “First noddaga #Yashboss matte #yash19‌‌ update ankonde. Yash tharane adre yash alla.” “#Gamechanger. I thought it was a re release poster of Yash movie,” was another tweet. Such was the confusion that Yash almost stole Ram Charan’s thunder on social media and was trending alongside the Telugu superstar.

One fan, meanwhile, was not happy with the poster design for a birthday announcement. He wrote, “This doesn't look a first look poster of #GameChanger #Ramcharan looking like Yash and the complete image looks like yash promoting a cool drink brand (even the way they displayed Title is not impressive) #RC15FirstLook #HappyBirthdayRamCharan.” Many also saw a fun side to this and suggested that Yash and Ram Charan ought to do a Karan-Arjun remake, while others wished the Rocking Star a happy birthday.
