Gamerlog trailer OUT: Darsheel Safary returns in coming-of-age esports drama

The coming-of-age comedy-drama Gamerlog will take place in the cutthroat world of Indian esports, and the trailer for the series has just been released by Amazon MX Player. The series will launch on June 12 and be free to stream.

Darsheel Safary returns as lead in story of dreams and defiance

Gamerlog is the story of Raghu, aka Maverick, played by Darsheel Safary of Taare Zameen Par fame, and it was produced by Abhinay Deo and Neeta Shah under the RDP Pulp Fiction Entertainment label. The series has been directed by newcomer Arya Deo. Despite his parents' wishes, the quiet and gifted gamer Raghu uproots his life from a tiny town and moves to Mumbai to pursue his dream of being a professional gamer.

While in the city, he meets 'Team Gamerlog', a dynamic but disparate crew that includes Lalit, Jaggi, Saurabh, and Mahesh and is captained by Joanna (Anjali Sivaraman). Raghu encounters emotional baggage, friendship, rivalries, and internal team strife as he adjusts to his new world. All this builds up to "The Tournament of Champions," the largest esports championship in India.

Darsheel Safary on relating to the world of Gamerlog
