On Friday, October 20, Ganapath-A Hero is Born was released in theaters, and its box office earnings were in the single digits. The Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon's movie didn't do well with the advance bookings, and the spot bookings continued the same pattern. The film, which is directed by Vikas Bahl, did not perform well on its opening day as well as on day two, which simply states that it would not even perform better over the course of the weekend.
According to early estimates by Sacnilk.com, the movie made 2.25 crore on day two. The movie's two-day total now stands at 4.75 crore. The action-packed movie had a Friday opening of 2.5 crore, which proves that the film failed to impress the audience.
In the South, movies like Leo, Tiger Nageswara Rao, Bhagavanth Kesari, and Ghost, among others, had an impact on Ganapath's performance. The fantasy-action movie is anticipated to earn between Rs 7-9 crore net in its opening weekend. Besides, Divya Khosla Kumar, Meezan Jafri and Pearl V Pruti starrer Yaariyan 2 also clashed with Ganpath. However, the film could only manage to collect Rs 60 lakh on the opening day.

Ganapath becomes Tiger's weakest opening ever. Tiger last appeared in the movie Heropanti 2, which opened to a poor opening day total of Rs. 6.50 crore. He appeared in Baaghi 3 before Heropanti 2, which generated Rs 17 crore on its opening day. War, which also starred Hrithik Roshan, continues to be Tiger's highest-grossing debut, earning Rs 53.35 crore on its first day. Heropanti, in which Tiger and Kriti made their acting debuts in 2014, managed to bring in Rs 6.63 crore on its opening day.
