Gandheevadhari Arjuna release date: Here’s when Varun Tej’s action thriller directed by Praveen Sattaru hits screens

Director Praveen Sattaru, who forayed into the industry with light-hearted romance dramas like LBW, Routine Love Story, reinvented himself across a wide variety of genres - Chandamama Kathalu, Guntur Talkies, 11 Hours, PSV Gatrudavega and The Ghost being a few examples. His next release is the action thriller Gandheevadhari Arjuna, starring Varun Tej in the lead.

Agent actress Sakshi Vaidya plays Varun’s female counterpart in Gandheevadhari Arjuna. BVSN Prasad is bankrolling the high-budget actioner produced under Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra. Mickey J Meyer scores the music for the film which is nearing completion. Today, the makers have finally announced its release date. The film will hit screens worldwide on August 25.

Gandheevadhari Arjuna promises to showcase Varun Tej in a brand new intense avatar. In a new poster released by the team, Varun Tej looks dapper in a blazer while holding a gun at an undisclosed location where there a few blasts in the background. Netflix is the official streaming partner of the action thriller while Goldmines has acquired the film’s Hindi rights.

Various promotional material of the film - posters, BTS glimpses, have captured the imagination of audiences already. The film’s shoot is currently being held across several international locations - it will have a handful of high-voltage action sequences and the post-production formalities have already commenced. The team is leaving no stone unturned to release the film as per schedule.

Mukesh G cranks the camera for the film and Avinash Kolla is the art director. Praveen Sattaru is also committed to do a show for the leading streaming platform ZEE5. Varun Tej had two releases last year - Ghani and F3: Fun and Frustration. While the former is streaming on aha, the latter can be watched on Sony LIV and Netflix.
