Gangers, the 2025 Tamil comedy film starring Sundar C and Vadivelu in the lead roles, has hit screens on Thursday. Besides starring in the film, Sundar C has also written and directed the film. While the filmmaker who has given back-to-back hits with Aranmanai 4 and Madha Gaja Raja, one has to wait and watch if Gangers too will live up to expectations and be a hattrick score for the director.

Sundar C, who has already proved his box office success in the recent times with Aranmanai 4 and Madha Gaja Raja, is known for crafting commercial potboilers, is back with his next film Gangers. The film is releasing on Thursday, and co-stars Vadivelu. The actor is going back to his comedian roots after a long time, piquing interest in Gangers further.
If you are waiting to stream the film on OTT, then the post theatrical rights of Gangers have been bagged by Prime Video. An OTT release date is yet to be announced. It is to be noted that Sundar C’s previous film Madha Gaja Raja, which is the first commercial success of 2025 in Tamil, is yet to stream on OTT.

Gangers is written and directed by Sundar C. After a long gap, Vadivelu and Sundar C worked together. The duo is known for giving hit films like London, Winner which are available on OTTplay Premium to stream. The cast also includes Catherine Tresa, Munishkanth, Bagavathi Perumal, among others.
Gangers has screenplay and dialogues by Venkatt Raghavan, with music by C. Sathya. The technical crew also includes E. Krishnasamy cranking the camera and editor Praveen Antony.
