Gangubai Kathiawadi Box Office collection: Alia Bhatt’s film mints Rs 5 crores in week four

Alia Bhatt’s Gangubai Kathiawadi saw a downfall after four weeks of its successful run at the Box Office. The movie collected Rs. 5 crores on week four of its release. The film has done a total business of Rs. 122.40 crores so far.

Week One – Rs. 66.72 crores

Week Two – Rs. 34.63 crores

Week Three – Rs. 16.05 crores

Week Four – Rs 5 crores

Total – Rs 122.40 crores

Looking at how the movie is going, even though it is difficult, the Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial might just touch Rs. 125 crore mark at the Box Office.

Gangubai Kathiawadi’s screens have been cut down majorly because of three other big release. While the movie was facing competition from Vivek Agnihotri’s The Kashmir Files and Akshay Kumar’s Bachchhan Paandey so far, now it has another challenge. SS Rajamouli’s much-awaited RRR has released in theatres today and has taken up many seats, thus cutting down Gangubai Kathiawadi’s business further. Now, Alia’s film has two shows at max in multiplexes.

Gangubai Kathiawadi was leading at the Box Office till The Kashmir Files released in its next week and became a huge sleeper hit. It even affected the business of a movie like Akshay’s Bachchhan Paandey, which is still struggling to mint Rs. 50 crores even after a week of its release. Now, Gangubai Kathiawadi’s run might just come to an end since audience is going to be divided between The Kashmir Files, RRR and Bachchhan Paandey (mainly the first two). Whether Sanjay and Alia’s collaboration film can touch Rs. 125 crore mark is something that remains to be seen.
