Gangubai Kathiawadi: Teaser of first song Dholida from Alia Bhatt starrer is all vibrant, colorful

Ever since the makers of Alia Bhatt's film Gangubai Kathiawadi announced its release date and shared the trailer, fans have their hearts beating faster. They can't seem to wait to watch Bhatt in the titular role, as the woman gangster, on the big screen. And now, it has their excitement has only gone up since the makers shared the teaser of the first song from the film. 

The teaser of the song Dholida shows glimpses of the actor in her Gangubai style, walking amidst the crowd and cheering them up with her Garba moves. The set looks vibrant and colourful. The actor took to social media to share the teaser and announce that the full song will be out tomorrow. She shared the teaser on Instagram and wrote, "Song out tomorrow @saregama_official #GangubaiKathiawadi in cinemas on 25th Feb."

Directed by Sanjay Bansali, the film is based on S. Hussain Zaidi’s book ‘Mafia Queens of Mumbai.’ The filmmaker has also worked on the music of the film along with Sanchit Balhara and Ankit Balhara. He is also backing the film with Jayantilal Gada. The film tells the true story of the popular Mafia Queen Gangubai Kathiwadi, who rose to fame after she took over Kamathipura and became the ‘Mafia Queens’ of Mumbai. 

Apart from Alia, Gangubai Kathiawadi also features Vijay Raaz, Indira Tiwari and Seema Pahwa in crucial roles and Ajay Devgn and Emraan Hashmi in cameo roles. 

The film will release on February 25, 2022, in theatres.
