Yogaraj Bhat's Garadi is centred around mud wrestling and traditional Indian gymnasiums but it is highly likely that fans of Challenging Star Darshan are looking forward to his role in the film. While Darshan does not play the lead, he is part of the cast to play a prominent role and his look in the film, too, suggests that there is something special on the cards.
And to make things more special for the fans, the actor will be launching Garadi's first video trailer on November 1 to mark Kannada Rajyotsava. The launch is likely to happen as part of a special event held in Ranebennur on the same day, with Darshan and the rest of the core team also expected in attendance. Garadi will be out in theatres on November 10.
Another interesting feature of Garadi will be young actor Pruthvi Shamanur who, we hear, will be seen playing a younger Challenging Star in the film. The Padavi Poorva actor could be seen playing the part of a wrestler in the pictures released by the team back in 2022, meaning that Darshan, who is arguably in the best shape of his career so far, will play a kusthi player in the film.
Garadi's cast also includes Yashas Surya, who plays the lead role, Sonal Monteiro, P. Ravi. Shankar and BC Patil, who backs the film under his home banner of Kourava Production House. BC Patil's wife Vanaja Patil is credited as the film's producer. V. Harikrishna, who has worked with Yogaraj Bhat on several films in the past, returns to score the music with Suresh Urs handling the editing responsibilities.
Yogaraj Bhat also has Karataka Damanaka in the pipeline with Shiva Rajkumar and Prabhudeva headlining the film. Priya Anand and Nishvika star as the female leads with Mukhyamantri Chandru and legendary Telugu actor and writer Tanikella Bharani also part of the cast. The makers of Karataka Damanaka are yet to announce the release date of the film.
