Garuda Gamana Vrishabha Vahana is Raj B Shetty’s second directorial after the comedy Ondu Motteya Kathe, a film that grabbed eyeballs right after the trailer dropped. With a haunting score by composer Midhun Mukundan and visuals that set the tone of the film – hard-hitting and violent - the trailer had everyone looking forward to the full movie.

When Garuda Gamana Vrishabha Vahana eventually came out, it received glowing reviews across the board, while audiences also lapped it up, which is also why it is coming to OTT almost two months after the theatrical release. The film, produced by Lighter Buddha Films and Coffee Gang Studios, was presented by actor-filmmaker Rakshit Shetty, the announcement of which had also created a lot of buzz, because Rakshit was categoric in stating that he collaborated with Raj solely on the merit of the film, which he loved, and that he was only presenting it and had no intention of taking away any credit from the team.

Garuda Gamana Vrishabha Vahana follows the story of Shiva (Raj B Shetty) and Hari (Rishab Shetty), two guys from Mangaladevi, Mangaluru, who take to a life of crime, and the police officer, Brahmaiyya (Gopalkrishna Deshpande) tasked with ending their reign. The film is a perfect example of how a fresh perspective in execution can turn even a routine subject into a gripping watch.
