Garudan, the recently released Tamil film starring actor Soori in the lead role, is now available for streaming. The film can be watched on Prime Video in Tamil with English subtitles. The rural action drama is directed by RS Durai Senthilkumar, who previously helmed films such as Kodi and Ethir Neechal. Garudan also stars Sasikumar and Unni Mukundan in prominent roles.

As the story progresses, rifts begin to develop between the friends, forcing the loyalist to take sides. The film is directed by RS Durai Senthilkumar.
The film received positive reception upon its release in theatres. Critics lauded Soori’s performance in the film. It is to be noted that Garudan is Soori’s second role as a protagonist. After acting as a comedian in many films, Vetrimaaran’s Viduthalai became Soori’s maiden role as protagonist. With Soori garnering appreciation from all corners for his performances as actor, Soori had recently revealed that he is looking forward to do many more of such roles.
Actors Revathi Sharma, Sshivada, Roshini Haripriyan, Samuthirakani, Mime Gopi, R.V. Udayakumar, Vadivukkarasi, Dushyanth, Rajendran, Brigida, and others played the supporting roles in Garudan.
The technical crew of Garudan consists of Arthur A Wilson. Isc as the director of photography. Yuvan Shankar Raja composed the music. Pradeep E Ragav handled the editing and G. Durairaj handled the art direction. Earlier the film was said to have story by Vetrimaaran. However, director Durai Senthilkumar had clarified that Garudan’s story is penned by him.
“With equal and honest offerings of substantial portions for its multi-character narrative, Garudan seems to likely begin the much-needed wave for Tamil cinema’s dry spell to get over,” reads OTTplay review of the film.
