Gaurav Khanna takes a break from Anupamaa and no, Anuj is NOT out of Rupali Ganguly’s show

Gaurav Khanna, who plays one of the major roles on Rupali Ganguly’s Anupamaa, has taken a break from the show. He has clarified that the character he plays, Anuj, is still very much a part of the show. Gaurav is on a break for a family vacation and will be back on the show soon.

Gaurav is visiting Jim Corbett National Park in Uttarakhand with his family. He will spend a few days there and then return to the popular show.

“Finally, I will be taking a break someday as I am visiting Jim Corbett National Park where I would get time to spend with my family and it is a much-needed break,” he told TellyChakkar.

The actor has also been sharing photos and videos from the place. He is spending time with his wife, Akanksha.

Gaurav’s chemistry with Rupali was instantly appreciated on Anupamaa. They came in the form of MaAn fans.

On the show, Anuj ended all ties with Anupamaa since Choti Anu got separated from them. This came as a major twist on the show.

However, Gaurav’s break comes at a time when news about MaAn reunion was at its peak. Who knows, it might just happen when the actor is back on sets? One can only hope.

Anupamaa also stars Sudhanshu Pandey, Madalsa Sharma, Nidhi Shah, Sagar Parekh, Ashlesha Savant and Chhavi Pandey in pivotal roles. The show is bankrolled by Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai producer, Rajan Shahi.

The Rupali Ganguly-led show is a Hindi remake of the Bengali TV serial, Sreemoyee. While the show did well in Bengal, the Hindi version is performing beyond expected and thus, new twists and turns get introduced to the show often.
