Gautham Karthik movie Shooting Wraps Up

The Gautham Karthik- Cheran multi-starrer movie has wrapped up its shooting in Chennai. The movie named Anandham Vilayadum Veedu is directed by Nanda Periyasamy. Producer P Ranganathan of Sri Vaari Films was the one who shared the happy news.

Producer Ranganathan said to TOI, “I have not seen such an actor in recent times and, I believe that such a character will endow him with the greatest glories. Actor Cheran sir is the icing on the cake. He has delivered a colossal performance.”

Gautham Karthik was last seen in action thriller Devarattam, released in 2019. Gautham played Vetri, an angry young man in the movie. Although the critics thrashed it as just another cliche revenge drama the movie became a commercial hit.

Shivathmika Rajashekhar will play the girl-next-door heroine in the movie. Aside from her, the cast also includes Daniel Balaji, Motta Rajendran, Saravanan etc.

Cheran, known for his over selectiveness, had been facing commercial failures for the past few years. A veteran actor and director, Cheran is undoubtedly desperate for a comeback. Nanda Periyasamy is also making a comeback after six years. His previous film, Vanna Jigina was released in 2015 and opened to negative reviews.
