Gavi Cinemas and Silly Monks Entertainment join hands for new Telugu movie in Nalgonda

Two production houses Gavi Cinemas and Silly Monks Entertainment have joined hands for a new film at Chinna Madaram, Nalgonda District in Telangana. Tentatively titled Production No. 9, the muhurat ceremony of the film made under Silly Monks studios was held amidst the presence of politicians (Nalgonda MLA) Kancharla Bhupal Reddy, (Nagarjuna Sagar MLA) Sri Nomula Bhagat and (Nalgonda municipal Chairman) Mandadi Saidi Reddy today. 

RG Gandikota wields the megaphone for the film which will have music by Charan Arjun. Praveen K Bangari cranks the camera for the film that features newcomers Vignesh and Arshita in key roles. Produced by Kokonda Jayachander Reddy, Sanjay Reddy and Anil Pallala, the makers are aiming at a November release as of now. Silly Monks Entertainment Limited has a huge line of up films and shows across South Indian languages, their media statement reads. 

Silly Monks aims to nurture stories, develop, set up projects, both feature films and shows, be a bridge between investors and the movie creators and hopes to make the movie business a profitable venture. Sanjay Reddy (MD) and Anil Pallala (CEO) share that their motto is to pick unique stories that go well with the tastes of today’s audience and ensure a takeaway element for viewers in every theme and provoke thought.

The company has been associated in various capacities for many Telugu movies including 47 Days, 24 Kisses, Palasa, Raja Vaaru Rani Gaaru, Naa Love Story, Mithai, Minugurulu, Mana Oori Ramayanam and Darsakudu. Sanjay Reddy has also been a regular face in front of the screen with appearances in films like George Reddy, Vijetha, PSV Garuda Vega, Jyo Achyutananda and NTR Kathanayakudu, to name a few.
