Gayatri Bhardwaj walks down the memory lane with Highway Love

The ongoing show ‘Highway Love’ is currently being aired on Amazon. The show is about Inaaya (played by Gayatri Bhardwaj), who gets abandoned by her ex-boyfriend on the highway. It is here on the highway where she meets Kartik who is struggling with a flat tire! As destiny would have it, both of them find comfort in each other’s company. The show was mostly shot in Pune. And as a matter of fact, Pune happens one of the cities with which Gayatri shares a deep bond and heartfelt connection with. 

Reflecting on her experience shooting on the Pune Highway, Gayatri walks path the memory lane. She said, “We shot on the Pune Highway, which made me feel nostalgic. I am quite familiar with these roads as I completed my college at Bharati Vidyapith. Every time I drove on those roads during the shoot, it brought back a flood of memories, and it added an extra layer of authenticity to my performance."

She added, "I have a strong connection with my character, as both my character and I are multi-talented in reel and real life. It was exciting to explore the different facets of her personality and bring them to life on screen. I hope the audience can resonate with the character as much as I did. During the filming of ‘Highway Love’, I felt very comfortable. This is my second project with Ritvik Sahore, and we share great chemistry on screen. We understand each other's rhythms and nuances, and it translates beautifully on camera. We always complement each other's performances, and I believe that chemistry will resonate with the audience."

‘Highway Love’, which promises to be a visually stunning series with captivating performances and a heart-warming narrative, the show has definitely got people talking.
