The Geeked Week is here! Netflix has just announced a barrage of upcoming projects and we cannot keep calm. The OTT giant has dropped an announcement video and shared the names of upcoming titles that are set to release soon.
The official announcement video begins with showcasing the snippets of all the forthcoming shows and movies one by one. A background voice says, "Try and stay very still. Guess what? The Geeked week is back. So, we are calling all geeks. The geek-adjacent, the geek-curious. Basically, anyone who loves to geek out. Wow, okay. There's a lot of us. Love it. It's time to admit that the geeks are f****** great. We are the hyper passionate, the super curious, the ones willing to dive into the unknown, or get scared shitless by it. Either way works. Welcome to the world that gives us those edge-of-your-couch, spill-you-neer, piss-your-pants moments. And also gives us this dude (David Harbour's Jim Hopper from Stranger Things flashes on the screen). And some crazy shit like this (a wired creature from one of the titles appears in the midst of the video).
The background voice further says, "Welcome to a week where we can all get geeked." The montage further goes unveiling the names of all the upcoming ventures including The Stranger Things, The Sandman, The Umbrella Academy, The Gray Man, Sweet Tooth, Resident Evil, The Sea Beast, Alice in Borderland, Manifest, and Locke & Key among others. The latest video ends with Netflix's signature background score TUDUM.
The OTT giant also took the video to its official Instagram handle and shared it with a quirky caption.
