“This is a special Diwali for me and I couldn’t have been happier to be watching myself in a film poster. I am thankful to the director and the producer for choosing me for Geetha Shankaram. I hope to work hard and make my presence felt in cinema, just as I did on television. Our film is sure to impress youngsters; the story is an ode to pure love and affection,” Mukesh Gowda shared.

The director conveyed his gratitude to the producers and thanked the cast and crew for supporting him with the project. “I’ve run from pillar to post to tell this story and finally, my dream has come true. The film will appeal to all,” Rudra said. The producer chose Rudra’s script over 20 other stories that came to him and labelled Geetha Shankaram as a full-blown romance.
